HOW TO: Accessing Apps Through RDS

Instructions for Accessing SAS from home on Windows

Notes: *This app runs best on Edge and Explorer **Ensure ROAMS (Pulse Secure) is disconnected

Go to https://ssmd-rds1.med.uwo.ca/RDWeb and login using uwo\userid and your Western password

2. Then SINGLE click the SAS application. You may get an RDP login prompt, please use same credentials as above.

3. The SAS Login screen will appear, enter your regular SAS credentials.

Go to the App Store and download Microsoft Remote Desktop app
Open your web browser and go to https://ssmd-rds1.med.uwo.ca/RDWeb and login using uwo\userid and your Western password
Then SINGLE click the application you wish to access (ie. SAS, PDB, Stata, etc)
When prompted, select to open with Microsoft Remote Desktop app
The Login screen will appear, enter your regular credentials for that application
Please note: if you do not see the app login screen, it may be minimized or hidden behind other open windows
