HOW TO: Access your Network Drives off campus

If you would like to access your network drives (T, U, X, etc.) from home or off campus, please follow the instructions below.

Instructions

  1. Request ROAMS access: Visit the link https://www.schulich.uwo.ca/sso/staff/roams-request and fill out the required field. Note this could take up to three working day depending on your supervisors' approval.

  2. Download, Install and login to Pulse Secure: Visit the link https://remote.uwo.ca/downloads/index.html . Select from the 64-bit Applications, the operating system you have on your computer e.g. windows, save and install pulse secure. Use the manual in the link https://remote.uwo.ca/pulse_setup.pdf to help you configure pulse secure.

  3. Map the network drives: Reach out to the Schulich Helpdesk to setup an appointment to help you map your drives to your laptop.

 

In order to connect with Pulse Secure to the Western network, you need to ensure you have a stable internet connection on your PC/Mac.
